While there were many elite fighting units involved in the Vietnam war, The Army's Special Forces were the most highly publicized. John Wayne's 1968 movie "The Green Berets" elevated the Special Forces to their legendary status.

While their original mission was to train the South Vietnamese to defend themselves, Special Forces units were later involved in offensive raids, combat patrols, ambushes, and other classified operations.

This authentic sculpture is equipped with the Special Forces green beret, slant pocket jungle fatigues, CAR-15 rifle, ALICE gear with grenades and ammo pouches, Jungle boots and first aid pouch.
